We agree a nearby stop — usually along the quays or near Eyre Square — that gets your group within a short, manageable walk without the driver trying to squeeze a full-size bus down a street built for pedestrians.
This is worth sorting at the enquiry stage rather than on the night. If your group is starting or finishing on Quay Street, tell us and we will suggest the drop-off and pick-up points that actually work, so nobody is standing around a corner in the rain trying to find the bus.
Eyre Square and Shop Street bus access
Eyre Square sits at the natural centre of a Galway night, but Shop Street running off it is pedestrian-only for most of opening hours, and traffic around the square itself gets heavy fast once evening events or matches are on.
