It reads as simple until a group of twenty-six lads tries to actually use it, and half the bundle turns out to be padding nobody wanted while the bit they actually needed — a longer run, an extra stop, a proper return home — gets charged as an extra on top.

What goes wrong
What a fixed stag package costs you that isn't on the invoice
A bundled package is priced for one imaginary version of a stag do, and real stag groups do not stay still long enough to match it. Numbers change in the weeks before the date, the activity that got booked six weeks out gets swapped, and the plan for the night shifts once someone finds out a venue is doing something better. A fixed package cannot flex with any of that without either overcharging you for the parts you dropped or hitting you with an extras bill for the parts you added.
The overcharging is the quieter cost. A package sold on a four-hour block gets used for two and a half because the group wants to head off on its own for the back end of the night — the bus is still paid for in full. Locking in the return time when the outbound is booked is the single most useful thing a stag weekend booking does, because an unplanned Sunday return from a destination full of stag and hen traffic is exactly the kind of thing that turns expensive and awkward at short notice.
Weekend bookings frequently combine several of the components above in one job — outbound transfer, an activity transfer on the Saturday, the night out itself, and the return leg — all quoted as a single figure rather than four separate invoices from different suppliers.

Stag groups vary too much in size, plan and destination for one published price to be honest for more than a fraction of them.
