The service
Why there is no "hen do package" to pick from
Search around for hen do packages in Ireland and most of what comes up is a fixed bundle: a set number of hours, a set stop or two, a headline price stuck on the front of it. It looks simple until your group actually tries to use it, at which point you discover you are paying for an hour you will not fill, or a stop nobody wanted, because the package was built for an average hen that does not match yours.
We do not run that model. There is one 31-seat party bus, and every hen enquiry that comes to us gets built from scratch around what your group actually wants to do — then priced individually in euro. If that sounds less convenient than clicking "Package B", the trade-off is that you are never handed a bill for somebody else's idea of a hen night.
What follows on this page is not a menu of packages. It is a list of the components a hen booking can be built from: a straightforward Dublin pick-up and drop-off, a one-hour entrance lap of the city, runs between a restaurant and the venues that follow it, a full weekend away with both legs covered, transfers to a daytime activity, and — in Belfast and Carlingford only — the 15-person party bike. Any hen do we run is some combination of these, sized to the group in front of us.
This matters most for the groups who feel like they do not fit a standard hen night: a small group of twelve who do not want to pay for a 31-seat package built around twenty-eight, or a group of thirty who need more hours than a fixed package allows and keep getting quoted for extras they never asked for. Building it component by component solves both problems the same way — by only charging for what is actually used.

What goes wrong
The problem with a hen do package you did not build
A published package is, by definition, built for the average booking, not yours. Fixed packages tend to bundle a block of hours with one or two set stops and call it a night out, and the maths behind them assumes every hen group wants roughly the same thing. Most do not. Some want a short, sharp entrance and then their own plans for the night. Some want six hours and four stops. A fixed package forces one of those groups to overpay and the other to underuse what they have bought.
The overpaying version is the more common complaint. A group books a package built around four hours because that is the only option offered, uses two of them, and pays for the other two regardless. Multiply that by twenty-two people chipping in and it is a real amount of money spent on nothing, on a night that was supposed to be about spending money on something.
The underusing version is worse in a different way. A group needs a longer, more complicated day — say a restaurant run, then three venues, then a late collection — and the fixed package simply does not stretch, so extras get bolted on at whatever rate the operator feels like charging once you are already committed to them. That is not a hen do package any more; it is a starting price with the real cost hidden behind it.
There is also the plain dishonesty of a published price for something that cannot honestly have one. A one-hour city lap for fourteen people and a full weekend away for twenty-eight are not remotely the same job, and a single headline price covering both is either wrong for one of them or padded for both. We would rather tell you plainly that we do not publish package prices than sell you a number that only works for a hypothetical average hen.
Mistakes we see most
- Booking a fixed-hour package without checking whether your group's plan actually fits inside it.
- Assuming a published "package" price already includes the stops and timings your night needs.
- Not asking what happens, and what it costs, if the night runs over the package's hours.
- Paying for a package built for 30 when your group is 14, because it was the only option shown.

Below is the full list of components a hen do can be built from, and the honest reasoning behind quoting each one individually rather than publishing a package price.
The Dublin entrance and city runs
The simplest hen booking is a straight pick-up and drop-off: the bus collects the group from a house, apartment or hotel and delivers everyone to the first venue, then handles the run between stops afterwards. This is priced on distance, stops and hours, and for a shorter Dublin night it is often the cheapest way into the evening.
A step up from that is the one-hour Dublin lap some hen groups use purely as an entrance: a circuit of the city with the laser lights on and the sound system going, timed to finish at the first venue rather than at a hotel door. It is short, it photographs well, and it turns the first hour of the night from dead travel time into part of the occasion.
Restaurant and venue runs sit alongside either of these. If the plan is dinner followed by two or three bars, the bus waits or returns at agreed times rather than being booked as one static block, and that waiting time is priced into the quote up front so nobody is watching a clock during the meal.
The full weekend away
Where a hen group wants more than one night, the booking becomes a weekend away, with the bus covering both the outbound leg on the Friday and the return on the Sunday as part of the same job. Destinations most often booked are Carrick-on-Shannon, Kilkenny, Carlingford, Belfast and Galway, and we will travel further for the right booking.
Both legs are priced together at the time of booking, which matters because the return leg is the part hen groups most often forget to lock down when they arrange transport piecemeal. Agreeing the Sunday collection time when you book the Friday departure means nobody is negotiating a way home from a weekend destination at short notice.
A weekend booking can also include a daytime activity transfer — moving the group to and from whatever is planned for the Saturday, which is where the party bike often comes in.
Activity transfers and the party bike
Many hen weekends want a daytime activity to fill the stretch between arrival and the evening, and the bus can handle the transfer to and from wherever that activity is happening as one component of the overall quote.
In Belfast and Carlingford specifically, the 15-person party bike is available as that daytime activity in its own right — a pedal-powered group session that fills the afternoon before the night gets going. It operates in those two locations only, so it is quoted alongside the bus rather than in place of it, and larger groups typically split across sessions given the bike's 15-person capacity.
Whether your weekend needs a transfer to a separate activity, the party bike itself, or both, each is a distinct line in the quote rather than a fixed add-on price stuck onto a package.
Why we quote per booking instead of publishing package prices
The honest reason is that a fixed price only ever tells the truth for one specific booking shape, and hen groups do not arrive in one shape. A published figure for "the hen package" would have to average across a fourteen-person one-hour lap and a twenty-eight-person weekend away, which means it is wrong — usually too high — for most people who read it.
Quoting per booking also means the price responds to the things that genuinely change cost: distance, total hours, number of stops, how late the finish is, and the date itself. It does not respond to how many people you bring, because you are hiring the bus rather than seats, so a group of fourteen and a group of twenty-eight on the same route pay the same.

Do you have fixed hen do packages with set prices?+
No, and that is deliberate. There is no published package or price list, because a fixed price only ever fits one specific booking shape and hen groups vary too much for that to be fair. Every booking is built from the components you actually need and quoted individually in euro.
What can a hen do booking actually include?+

How do you price a hen do if there's no package to start from?+
We price against your route, total hours, number of stops and the date, using the same bus and driver rate for every booking. Group size does not change the price up to the 31-seat limit, because you are hiring the bus rather than paying per head.
Can we get a quote before we've finalised the plan?+

Can the hen do be a full weekend away rather than one night?+
Yes. We regularly run hen weekends to Carrick-on-Shannon, Kilkenny, Carlingford, Belfast and Galway, with the outbound and return legs quoted together as one booking so the Sunday return is agreed from the start.
Is the party bike part of every hen booking?+
No — it only operates in Belfast and Carlingford. Where a hen weekend is heading to one of those destinations, the bike can be added as a daytime activity and quoted alongside the bus. Elsewhere, it is not available.
What if our group is small — do we still pay a full package price?+
There is no full package price to pay a fraction of. A smaller group's booking is priced on its own route and hours, so a hen do for fourteen is not priced as if it were the thirty-person version.
How far ahead should we enquire?+
As soon as you have a date, even with the plan still rough. We run one bus, so Saturdays through hen season are limited, and a small deposit is what actually secures the date once a quote is agreed.
Is the transport itself licensed and insured?+
Yes. The bus is PSV-licensed and compliant, the business holds a full operator licence, and it is fully insured for passenger transport. Drivers hold Cat D licences and CPC qualification, and seatbelts are fitted on board.
